I know I’m not the first to notice this, but it just blows my mind how much scrawnier Cap looks in The Avengers compared to Captain America: The First Avenger just by virtue of his costume. I realize he’s angled slightly differently in these particular photos, but anyone who’s seen both in action knows what I’m talking about.  Definitely miss his WWII outfit already.

  11. chujo-hime said: Ignoring the costume differences- he actually is smaller. Apparently trying to keep that much muscle on his body really took a toll on his body & messed with his health during the first movie, so they didn’t make him bulk up as much for this movie.
